Bank for International Settlements analysis suggest that some common regulatory requirements are now emerging, and supervisory approaches to assessing banks' cyber-risk vulnerability and resilience seem to be converging towards a "threat-informed" or "intelligence-led" framework. Proportionality in Banking Regulation: A Cross-Country Comparison

BIS note compares proportionality approaches of six jurisdictions

Bank for International Settlements note compares the proportionality approaches in Brazil, the European Union, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Switzerland and the United States. The approaches differ considerably, in terms of criteria and the thresholds used to decide which banks are subject to specific sets of rules, and also in terms of the regulatory standards that are subject to a proportional implementation.

Banking on Women: Gender Intelligence for Banks - Moving the Needle on Gender Equality

IFC report analyzes the impact of a Pakistani bank's Gender Intelligence Training Program

International Finance Corporation report sets out results of efforts by Pakistani bank to address gender equality for both its women employees and women customers. Findings show: i) gender intelligence training led to a measurable increase in positive gender awareness among the trained population as compared to the untrained population; ii) positive effects observed among trained employees with regard to support for women at the banks and women's confidence level; iii) branches whose managers have been trained in gender intelligence outperform branches with untrained managers in terms of increased deposits by women; and iv) training needs to be part of a comprehensive strategy.

G20/OECD/INFE report on levels of financial literacy among adults identifies areas for improvement

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development International Network on Financial Education report describes levels of financial literacy of adults in G20 countries, the Netherlands and Norway. Results show considerable scope for improvement in levels of financial knowledge, behaviour and attitudes across G20 countries. The need for action is made urgent by the increasing digitalization of finance.
